Food Food Glorious Food

Man the Thais like to eat. Not only do they like to eat but they like to eat everything and in great quantities. There are food stands of every type and variety you can think of and they literally overflow with sweet smelling wonders. I have only dared buy food from a stand once, it was some kind of a flattened pork thing that was sweet and spicy. Anyway to give you some idea of the temptations that surround these sweet people at every step of their way, I set out and photographed a bunch of the stalls that I found opposite the university. These were all taken within a ten minute walk of the school and while they are only a small selection of the street vendor's stalls, I hope give some kind of sense of a part of the street life that flourishes in every nook, alley and sidewalk of this vibrant place.
