The tiny Thai carnival

Jerro had read there was a miniature carnival at the Center of the world, which is this area of Bangkok that could be in London, New York, Chicago or Paris. There is a Hyatt, a Prada and a number of other luxurious emporiums which sell the same over priced luxury items and deny distance or difference. What the whole space reminded me of was blade runner except that the language was Thai, not the polyglot language spoken in the film. Also the weather was better. But it had the huge screens showing video advertisements.















What made the space especially weird was this Stalinist Samsung sculpture.





























Inside the end of the world was this exhibition of miniature objects in plastic cases, which defeated the purpose of why Jerro wanted to go down. He wanted to stand in the middle of them and play. He dis think the carnival was kind of fun, even though he could not do a Godzilla impersonation and stomp on the litle people.
