Colonel Bogie in Bangkok

Because we are visitors in this country and are supposed to provide some kind of context for our stay in this blog, Jerro thought it would be cool to photograph some Thais. He is especially fascinated by the number of uniforms Thais seem to wear from the youngest school child to the variety of policemen. He is not sure, but he thinks it might have something to do with a type of social stratification.

He asked his friend Lyn about why some school children looked like boy scouts and girl guides and she told him that every child in Thailand is automatically enrolled in the Scouts and the Guides and one day a week they have a Scouting Day at School. Jerro was wondering why the Scouts don't wear kilts and I had to explain to him that the Scouts and the Scots were different. He said I am stupid and don't know shit.
